One way to improve your glass's appearance is by using chemicals to etch the surface of the glass. The second way to alter the appearance of an already existing window is through the application of a decorative window film. Decorative window film includes tinting your windows, as well as adding different colors and designs to your windows using window film.

When it comes to the two methods for changing the appearance of your glass, etching is the more expensive option. Glass etching is expensive because it is an involved process.
